TBT Goes Dark ...
Effectively immediately, TBT is back on hiatus …
Three reasons …
First reason: I have severe compression of the ulnar nerve in my left arm either in my neck or behind the left shoulder blade which, combined with ongoing supraspinatus tendinosis, means that my entire left arm from the shoulder to the pinky and ring fingers gradually go completely numb within 10 to 20 minutes of sitting at my desk.
The pain is excruciating, and I end up having to sit down on my couch with my back up against the cushions to release the compression and retain feeling and use of my left arm …
Mind you, I can sit on my couch Indian style for hours with my PS4 controller without issue. Soon as I sit down Indian style on my armless computer chair, my left arm is going to go numb. Mentioned it to my doctor and traced the pain using his own shoulder blade, and he said, “That tells me the compression is either in the neck or the thoracic spinal area. We already MRI’ed the shoulder, so an MRI from the T1 to the C7 vertebrae is next.”
Second reason: my health and financial issues have taken away any passion I had for writing … and it sucks. When I sit down to shoot a video for “A Corrupted Pol Show” on YouTube, everything I do is right handed, and my left usually sits in my lap or keeps up with the Folger’s/Coke Zero/Steel Reserve Calisthenics. My videos are usually 30 to 40 minutes long. My longest is just over an hour and my arm was killing me after that, but it’s manageable.
The third reason will be revealed tomorrow on “A Corrupted Pol Show” … and I’ll edit this line accordingly …
